These terms and conditions govern your use of the Techwala website (https://techwala.co.uk) and the device repair services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Our Services
Techwala provides device repair services including, but not limited to, screen replacements, battery replacements, water damage recovery, and general hardware repairs for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices.
- All repairs are carried out by trained technicians using OEM and premium quality parts.
- We offer a collection and delivery service across Greater Manchester and nationwide via insured courier.
- Repair times are estimates and may vary depending on device condition and parts availability.
Pricing and Payment
- All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable and are subject to change without notice.
- A final price will be confirmed before any repair work begins. You will not be charged more than the agreed amount without your consent.
- Payment is due upon completion of the repair and return of your device. We accept card payments including contactless.
- A diagnostic fee of £20 may apply for laptop and PC repairs. This fee is waived if you proceed with the repair.
Warranty
All repairs carried out by Techwala come with a 12-month warranty as standard. This warranty covers:
- Defects in parts supplied and fitted by us
- Workmanship issues related to the original repair
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage, liquid damage, or accidental damage after the repair
- Software issues unrelated to the repair performed
- Devices that have been repaired or tampered with by a third party after our repair
- Normal wear and tear
No Fix, No Fee
If we are unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for the repair. However, a diagnostic fee may apply for certain device types (laptops and PCs) as outlined above. Collection and delivery costs may still apply for nationwide courier services if the device cannot be repaired.
Liability
- We take every care with your device. However, some devices may have pre-existing conditions that could affect the repair outcome. We will inform you of any risks before proceeding.
- Techwala is not liable for data loss. We strongly recommend backing up your device before submitting it for repair.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the cost of the repair service provided.
Collection and Delivery
We offer doorstep collection and delivery within Greater Manchester. For customers outside this area, we provide an insured, tracked courier service. Devices are covered during transit; however, we recommend removing any cases or accessories before handing over your device.
Cancellation
You may cancel a repair request at any time before work has commenced at no charge. If parts have already been ordered specifically for your repair, a restocking fee may apply. Once a repair has been completed, cancellation is not possible, but our warranty terms will apply.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
